Hey! It's Eclipse, and this is my story, "No Place Like Home" and I hope you enjoy it!
SQUEAK! SQUEAK! The playground swings go back and forth, back and forth. I had been on the swings of the park for half an hour. My parents allow me outside whenever and however long I want. I stopped the swing, quickly, and hopped off. I started my way towards Starbucks. The warm summer day breeze in my face felt good. Great actually. It seemed like forever, but I got closer and closer after a while. I looked across the street and saw a boy. A boy with black, shaggy hair, brown eyes, and tan skin. He was with some other people. I couldn't make out which were boys and which were girls. It took me a minute to realize that I had just stopped and stood right there just staring at him. He looked at me, then walked away with his friends. I went inside Starbucks and played music for Marissa, a server. I asked for my usual, she wrote my name on the cup, I sat there reading and listening to music, like always. After about, a quarter after ten, I left.
